About this event

Open to Other Perspectives

with Lekshmy Parameswaran (The Care Lab)

“It is never too late to give up your prejudices” – Henry David Thoreau“Only when diverse perspectives are included, respected, and valued can we start to get a full picture of the world.” – Brené Brown

Fear, ignorance and ego create barriers to being open. Trust, curiosity and humility help us create anchor points to be open to other perspectives. Creating spaces to uncover humility, connect more deeply with others, nurture optimism to face challenges and grow possibilities help inform our responsible collective choices.

Goals & Benefits

This session is available twice on the same day – you can .choose to attend at either 08:00 (UTC) or 15:00(UTC)- both sessions are the same and are run to enable people in different time zones to be able to attend. Either session will help you to:

  • Create a learning and growth mindset and attitude
  • Actively listen to reveal humility before others
  • Demonstrate tools for shifting perspectives together with a confidence to try
  • Explore possibilities in consideration of differences
  • Consider practices connected to leadership approaches.

Practice Outcomes
