Interview with Tom Wood
1. Tell us about you?
I'm one of the founders of Foolproof, Europe's largest user experience design specialist. My particular passion is design research and finding ways to include customers as participants in the design process.
2. What would you like to learn at UX Hong Kong 2013 and why is it important you?
I'd like the same outcome as when I came to the 2011 conference: learning new perspectives from interesting and experienced speakers, and also meeting practitioners from around the world and putting together a sense of our profession from a global standpoint.
3. What/who are you looking forward to see in Hong Kong?
I'm interested to hear about Lean UX from Jeff Gothelf. I'm not sure where I stand on this topic and I think hearing Jeff speak will be a good opportunity to take it from the source.
Dim sum! Dan and Jo have a deep and passionate expertise in this important subject.
4. What topics are on the horizon for UX that interest you?
I'm interested in UX strategy and how companies are organising themselves around creating more valuable experiences for customers. It will be interesting to hear international perspectives on this subject.
